Jeff Keele was born in Dickson, TN on October 31, 1961 to
Charles and Miriam Keele. Jeff is a graduate from Lipscomb
University where he majored in Bible and minored in Engineering
Science. He received his M.A.R. from Lipscomb in 1993.

Jeff began preaching when he was sixteen years old at Spring
Creek church of Christ in Hickman County, TN. After graduating
from Lipscomb, Jeff began working full time in 1985 as Youth
Minister for the Walnut Street church of Christ in Dickson, TN. In
January 1987 he was asked to come preach for the Tatum church
of Christ which later became the New Spring Creek church of
Christ where he remained until March 2002. On March 31st of that
year Jeff began his work with this congregation. Jeff has helped
with mission work in the coal mining regions of Eastern Kentucky
and West Virginia, in Bay St. Louis, Ms and Statenville, GA, as
well as Georgetown, Guyana and El Salvador.

Jeff was married to his wife, the former Rebecca Williams, on
August 9, 1986 and they adopted three children, Donnie, Juanita,
and Brandon in 1992. At present they have three grandsons,
Isaiah Avram and Gabriel.

Jeff and Becky believe they have found a home with the church
here in Waverly and look forward, with God’s blessing, to many
years of service in this
community.
